Balloon flights vs Prediction

Way back when we made a few predictions of where the balloons might fly. We used a very hand-wavy algorithm to predict the range of latitudes the balloons may travel. The relatively smooth lines are the predictions. The orange-ish  ones are from Halley and the Green-ish ones are from SANAE. The middle ones are lines of constant latitude, and the other two... well they are my non-scientific predictions. However, notice that they aren't too bad! Just think, maybe next year I'll do even better!
