The start of the science telecoms!

After a bit of a well deserved break, we're ready to start back into the thick of it. We've already got most of 5 payloads built for next years campaign. Only another 15 to go! We've debriefed from this campaign. Life has almost returned back to normal, and now (at least for a data person) the fun really gets to begin!

Monday March 25th at 3:00 EST will be our first science telecom with the Van Allen teams. All are welcome. We've had some participants throughout the campaign from THEMIS, ground magnetometers, ground radars, modellers, and most recently Cluster. If you aren't already on the e-mail list and would like to be please contact either myself (Alexa), Robyn, or another person on the team. If you are thinking that you may want to join in for next campaign but don't have much to contribute from this years, I might suggest joining in from time to time just to learn about what type of data we have and what we might want to be looking for.

First week of June we also hope to have a science working group meeting which should be a lot of fun! It will be held in sunny Minneapolis. One of my favourite cities in the world. If you are interesting in attending please contact Robyn.

Have a great day!
